Audio Enhancements Tab Missing

Audio Enhancements Tab Missing Rating: 8,4/10 4493 votes

I upgraded to Windows 10 yesterday, and have since installed the latest High Definition Audio drivers from Realtek,Unfortunately I noticed that music was sounding 'squashed' and generally absolutely terrible, which I recognised as the default Loudness Equalisation that was present by default when I first bought my laptop. The only difference is now when I right click the speaker icon click Playback Devices go to my speaker properties, there is no Enhancements tab. Just General, Levels and Advanced. Is this a driver problem? Do I need to ring technical support?

I can't use my PC in its current state as this automatic compressor makes it impossible to work with music (which requires quiet and loud dynamics).Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. Hi there,Thanks for posting on the HP Support Forums and Welcome!
