Ipconfig Tunnel Adapter Media Disconnected
I looked at another laptop i have, and its says media disconnected on that as well. I have also taken the power cord of the mdem out, waited 10 secs and then put the cord back in and after the router booted, im still having the same issue in both pcs. Guys i fixed it.
Called Verizon fios and they couldn't fix it, then i started tinkering with the settings. If anyone having this prob: go to network connections - right click wifi - properties - sharing tab - check the first one and press ok. My problem was doing this to the ethernet port instead of the wifi port.Well who would have guessed? -:lol:Where is network connections? You mean the available networks?Right click on the wifi icon and click 'open settings'.
Just did it and it worked.
Windows 10 Local Area Connection Disconnected
I've run into an unfortunate problem. I was port forwarding earlier to create a server for an online game when my internet suddenly crashed and stopped working completely. The internet router itself is fine, for my phone and other computers in the household can connect to it.
But now my computer refuses to cooperate with the wireless internet. After 3 hours of frustration, I only succeeded in getting rid of the 169 IP that Windows was assigning to my computer.Ethernet works. This computer is running on Windows 10. My internet is Verizon FiOS. Click to expand.I did as that guide said, and the Command Prompt came back with this:Microsoft Windows Version 10.0.15063(c) 2017 Microsoft Corporation. Click to expand.Disconnected the the Ethernet cable and pinged those addresses.
CMD prompt came back with this:Microsoft Windows Version 10.0.15063(c) 2017 Microsoft Corporation.
