War Thunder Vs World Of Warships
I get destroyed so fast in any plane or tank. The whole crew mechanic is dumb. What's wrong with a health bar. With that you not going to get destroyed so fast.
If I hear 'the gunner is dazed', 'the gunner is knocked out', 'the commander is dazed', 'the commander is dazed and confused' iam going to destroy my computer. It is just a matter of playstyles. But yeah, I think WT does blow, as you climb into there higher tank tiers. As usual low tiers in tanks is real good fun.Learn't to fly with zee mouse with there planes. Fun in there own way. Trolling bombers with fighters is funny. I tired of it fast because I couldn’t find a good setting for the aircraft joystick controls.
It was really frustrating that I couldn’t find a setting that gave adequate control but wasn’t over sensitive to inputs. Haven’t played the tanks, but your complains sound just like my criticisms of WOT.This game is much simpler, and doesn’t have as many instant deaths out of nowhere (compared to WOT). WT definitely caters to the more sim focus players compared to WG products. I may give it another try. When it comes to tanks or aircraft, I much prefer more realistic gameplay, when it comes to boats I think a little more arcade mechanics lends itself nicely. Or to put it another way with out getting into mudslinging, I play WoWS, but I'll never touch WoT or WoWP, and instead prefer to play 'other' games to get my fix for tanks and shooty planes. The so called more realistic modes in WT are still very much arcade with aiming at weak points which was only possible at extremely close ranges and impossible at the typical WWII fighting range of 500 yards.
How to save in the long dark. Apr 10, 2018 - I know I read its permadeath and such, but it seems to save? Does it save via buildings or when I sleep? Jw, tried finding info but nothing exact. Dec 28, 2015 - Sorry, new here. When I hit 'Quit' to leave the game for a while it told me that any unsaved data would be lost, but I'm not sure if I have any.
WT is more realistic vs WG titles being more arcade and pure balance based. If you are complaining about the stupidity of the damage model in War Thunder because it's more realistic the stupidity in question isn't with the game.I have more issue with the WT plane damage model that requires aiming at specific parts of the planes which was something that only a small percentage of the aces like Butch O'Hare were able to do, everyone else simply shot at the plane. The weak spot aiming is also ahistorical and was not regularly done. To be fair, WT does have superior graphics and physics to WG games. It's far more realistic visually.Where it fails is in it's lack of simplicity. They created the game for die hard war buffs, not the common denominator. It's far too complex and very hard to keep track of the enemy on the battlefield.Where WG excels is it's game's simplicity and short learning curve.
Perhaps WG will one day upgrade it's outdated game engine and produce the best of both worlds.Edited April 11, 2018 by STINKWEED. 2 tablespoons olive oil.

Cook 10 minutes to allow flavours to meld. Sprinkle with chives and black pepper. The one time i have to agree with M8i.I hate WT with a passion, and its company. I won't lie, its nice to see a realistic and sim like WWII game featuring vehicles but theres a lot of things i distaste about the game, one of those such things being how easy it is to get one-shotted, even if you aren't out of position or doing something stupid. Things like, 'Pilot knocked out' has always been something that's annoyed me about the game because it seems more 'fun and engaging' then Detonations on WOWS and sometimes, i swear, the armor on tanks is very inconsistent at times. The naval gameplay of WT is certainly becoming a HUGE step up from this. If/When it gets fully released or gets open beta is another thing entirelyYou mean 'Battle Boats'?
I already played that app on my phone through Angry Birds, it was fun for awhile, but got boring after awhile. Decent graphics, but ya. Love their timeline too, release a paid for closed beta 2 years ago, change directions a year ago,.
Ya.For those saying it's more realistic. Sure, maybe that one mode, been so long since I played it I can't remember what it's called, but the arcade mode, come on. Give me a break, lol, hop in a tank, start getting some damage, hop in a plane, drop payload and kamikaze into a tank killing them yet you live.
You get a 'twofer' with a cheap shot to boot. Everything else I could see and even work around to an extent, the temporary aerial though with the kamikaze pilots, na. That ruined the game for me. I have more issue with the WT plane damage model that requires aiming at specific parts of the planes which was something that only a small percentage of the aces like Butch O'Hare were able to do, everyone else simply shot at the plane. War Thunder was supposed to be the first high quality simulator in almost a decade since IL-2 came out to offer air combat across WW2 on an MMO level.Aircraft of WW2 don't typically work well in appeal once you reach a certain level of 'balance' which is why WT flourished and WoP suffered. The problem is WT still caters exclusively to the Arcade crowd while trying to offer a realistic environment and FM for it's planes. This has stagnated the game because so much of it's audience is there to fly like real aircraft in a manner close-ish to the way it was actually done. Gaijin has never picked up the ball though, and RB and SB are still pretty half assed and haven't seen any major improvements since release.

Gaijin has never picked up the ball though, and RB and SB are still pretty half assed and haven't seen any major improvements since release. My opinion on WoWP is it face planted because they never positioned it as the much better arcade flyer in the almost nonexistent advertising. They expected another WoT completely forgetting that WoT came out into a vacuum and had no real competition. WT ran into a similar problem when they launched Ground Forces although they got more internal crossover GF is still not heavily played like the air game is. They were smart with the naval game to not go head to head with WoWS instead focusing on the coastal forces and building from there. I get destroyed so fast in any plane or tank. What's wrong with a health bar. With that you not going to get destroyed so fast. If I hear 'the gunner is dazed', 'the gunner is knocked out', 'the commander is dazed', 'the commander is dazed and confused' iam going to destroy my computer.I like the concept of being able to one-shot enemies instead of a health bar system.
It can make you more careful and in result, requires more skill to play effectively to avoid dying.
